Terrible Tornado

In the sky above me …
Dark, grim clouds form a spiral,
Drooping dreadfully in the sky.

In the sky above me…
A tornado starts making the city noisy,
The misty monster makes devastating destruction.

In the sky above me…
Crashed cars are being pulled towards the devastating disaster,
Rubble is scatted across the ground.

In the sky above me…
The tornado slowly settles down,
Misty dust comes to a halt.

Great poem conjuring terrible wind. Good picture, too.

What sets this poem apart is how seamlessly it creates an atmosphere of gloom which stays on in the reader's mind . Words that linger to such an extent that the reader can almost smell the dust and feel the mist. Well done!

An amazing mindscape painted. I'm awestruck by the word usage. Kudos and cuddles to the little genius ...
